Compressed Charcoal Sketches, Portland Me 1995

These are 5 minute sketches, done in Korean 1cm square section compressed charcoal sticks, mostly at my studio in Cumberland Ave. They were drawn on Borden & Riley ‘Penny Bond’ 24” by 36” paper, 24” by 36” newsprint, and 27” by 34” flip-chart layout bond paper. Some of these were done at my drawing group with professional models, and some when I worked alone with friends.
